Assistant Welcomes 106 Unsri Community Service Program Students
Representing the Regent of Muara Enim on behalf of the Muara Enim Regency Government, Assistant III of the Muara Enim Regency Government, Ir. Maryana, welcomed 106 students from Sriwijaya University (Unsri) in Palembang at the Serasan Sekundang Meeting Room, on Monday (May 30), who will be conducting a Thematic Community Service Program (KKN) in Muara Enim Regency.
The Assistant conveyed the Muara Enim Regency Government’s gratitude to the 106 Unsri students participating in the Thematic KKN on Stunting.
“I’m pleased with this KKN program; previously it was conducted online, and now students are returning to their respective regions,” she said.
According to him, the KKN serves as an opportunity for students to test the skills they’ve acquired during their studies and apply them directly in the field, since what is learned in the classroom may not necessarily translate the same way during the KKN.
He hopes that during their KKN, students will broaden their horizons, remain humble, and adapt to the conditions in their KKN environments.
“Good luck with your assignments; make the most of your KKN period by demonstrating the results of your work,” said the Assistant.
Meanwhile, Bimo Brata Adhitya, ST, MT, Coordinator of Community Service at the Unsri Research and Community Service Institute, expressed his gratitude to the Muara Enim Regency Government for welcoming Unsri students to carry out community service in three subdistricts (Sungai Rotan, Muara Belida, and Semendo Darat Ulu) in 9 villages from May 30 to June 30, 2022—a thematic KKN focused on supporting the government’s program to combat stunting.
