Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi melaksanakan kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat bersama tim dosen di SMA Unggulan Negeri 1 Muara Enim.

The Economics Education Study Program conducted a Community Service activity with a team of faculty members at Muara Enim 1 State Elite High School. This Community Service activity focused on four themes, namely:

1. Guidance on Developing Case-Method-Based Student Worksheets for High School Economics Teachers in Muara Enim Regency

2. Guidance on Developing Creative Learning Materials Using Liveworksheet to Implement the Merdeka Curriculum for High School Economics Teachers in Muara Enim Regency

3. Training on Publishing Scientific Articles in Accredited Journals for High School Economics Teachers and Prospective PPG Students in Muara Enim Regency

4. Improving Writing Skills Through Training in Scientific Article Writing for High School Economics Teachers in Muara Enim Regency in Preparation for the PPG Program

The arrival of the PPM team at Muara Enim 1 State High School was warmly welcomed by school officials and participating teachers from various high schools in Muara Enim Regency. The team arrived at the school at 7:00 a.m. and spoke with the principal before entering the meeting room. The principal expressed his great delight at the visit from the PPM team from the Economics Education Study Program to their school, noting that the visit was intended not only to share knowledge but also to foster camaraderie among faculty members, alumni, and fellow alumni from the same alma mater.

The PPM event was opened by Nur Efisra Kautsar, a student in the Economics Education Study Program who also currently works as a presenter at PAL TV Palembang. The event began with the singing of the national anthem, “Indonesia Raya,” followed by remarks from Mr. Deskoni, S.Pd., M.Pd., who, representing the leadership of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), explained that today’s activity is one of the three pillars of higher education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi) that faculty members are required to carry out. It is hoped that through this PPM activity, faculty members will have the opportunity to serve their partners or the community—specifically the teachers at Muara Enim State Elite High School No. 1 today.

In her remarks, the Principal of Muara Enim State Elite High School 1, Ms. Dra. Rita Riana, M.M., stated that this PPM activity is expected to provide knowledge and information to the economics teachers at high schools in Muara Enim Regency, particularly regarding the service theme addressed today.

The event began with a group prayer, and at the start of the activities, the teachers were invited to participate in a quiz prepared by the team using Quizizz; four participants with the highest scores were selected to receive door prizes from the PPM team. At 9:00 a.m., the presentation session began with the first team addressing the theme “Guidance on Developing Case-Method-Based Local Curriculum Materials (LKPD) for – High School Economics Teachers in Muara Enim Regency,” presented by Mr. Muhammad Akbar Budiman, S.Pd., M.Si., followed by presentations from Dr. Dwi Hasmidyani, M.Si., and Ms. Dian Eka Amrina, S.Pd., M.Pd.

The second session, titled “Guidance on Developing Creative Learning Materials Using Liveworksheet to Implement the Merdeka Curriculum for – High School Economics Teachers in Muara Enim Regency” was presented by Ms. Dewi Pratita, S.Pd., M.Pd., and continued by Ms. Yuliana, S.Pd., M.Pd., who provided instruction on Liveworksheet to the participating teachers.

The third session, titled “Training on Publishing Scientific Articles in Accredited Scientific Journals for High School Economics Teachers and Prospective PPG Students in Muara Enim Regency,” was led by Mr. Drs. Ikbal Barlian, M.Pd. The session focused on how teachers can apply their professional expertise to engage in scholarly publishing. The final session, titled “Improving Writing Skills Through Training in Scientific Article Writing for High School Economics Teachers in Muara Enim Regency in Preparation for the PPG Program,” was presented by Ms. Dra. Siti Fatimah, M.Si. and Ms. Dian Eka Amrina, S.Pd., M.Pd.
