However, Virgo, one of the Unsri KKN students, admitted that he still feels very at home living in Lahat. According to him, there are many lessons to be learned from the KKN (Community Service Program) in Lahat Regency. He said that when he first arrived in Lahat Regency, he was a bit nervous at first, but after living there for a few days, he felt comfortable and very at home. When interviewed by this media outlet, Virgo explained that the KKN site where he is stationed is the village of Makartitama, and the villagers there are very friendly.

“I’ve learned a lot in this village, especially about unity, how to respect others, and the kindness shown by the entire community—it felt as if I were living in my own home. My hope for the future is that, once I’m successful, I can return to Lahat Regency.”

He also did not forget to apologize as he had to leave and return to Palembang: “Please forgive me if, during my time here, my behavior or words may have offended or hurt the residents of Makartitama Village.” but rest assured, this KKN journey will become the most beautiful chapter in my life as I pursue success,

and I hope Lahat Regency will continue to progress under the leadership of Lahat Regent Cik Ujang, S.H., who has shown us such respect and hospitality in Lahat. On behalf of all my fellow students, I pray that Lahat will shine even brighter in the future.
