With the theme “Empowering Teachers to Develop Interactive Multimedia to Support Deep Learning at Indralaya Selatan Public Junior High School No. 3,” this initiative represents one of Unsri’s tangible contributions to improving the quality of human resources in the field of education.

The program is funded through Unsri’s 2026 DIPA. This community service program is designed to enhance teachers’ competencies in utilizing technology as an innovative, creative, and interactive learning medium.

Through this activity, teachers received guidance on developing interactive multimedia that can be applied in the learning process to support the implementation of the deep learning approach.

During the event, the Unsri PKM Team presented material on the importance of innovation in learning media in the digital age.

In addition to the presentation, participants also received demonstrations on how to use applications that can be leveraged to develop interactive multimedia to support the teaching and learning process.

Through hands-on sessions and guidance, teachers were encouraged to create engaging, user-friendly learning media tailored to the characteristics of their subjects and the needs of their students.

This event was organized by the Unsri PKM Team, consisting of Prof. Dr. Yuanita Windusari, S.Si., M.Si., Dra. Umi Chotimah, M.Pd., Ph.D., Dr. Sulkipani, S.Pd., M.Pd., Muhammad Alipraja, S.H., M.H., Nila Sari, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Puspa Dianti, S.Pd., M.Pd.

This community service activity also involved five Unsri students: Yudisia Sofani Putra, Siti Naila, Veronika Zahra Pirera, Akbar Bintang Ramadhan, and Lilis Puspita.

The students’ participation not only provided technical support during the activity but also served as an opportunity for them to apply the knowledge they gained in the classroom through direct mentoring of the participants.

Through collaboration between faculty members, students, and school officials, this community service activity is expected to enhance teachers’ competencies in utilizing technology as part of educational innovation.

The development of interactive multimedia is expected to create a more engaging learning environment, increase student engagement, and support more meaningful learning.
